Lesson 347 – Laying down my weapons

Anger must come from, judgement. Judgement is the weapon I would use against myself, to keep the miracle away from me.

Tin man, Birmingham city centreFather, I want what goes against my will, and do not want what is my will to have. Straighten my mind, my Father. It is sick. But You have offered freedom, and I choose to claim Your gift today. And so I give all judgement to the One You gave to me to judge for me. He sees what I behold, and yet He knows the truth. He looks on pain, and yet He understands it is not real, and in His understanding it is healed. He gives the miracles my dreams would hide from my awareness. Let Him judge today. I do not know my will, but He is sure it is Your Own. And He will speak for me, and call Your miracles to come to me.

Listen today. Be very still, and hear the gentle Voice for God assuring you that He has judged you as the Son He loves.

Hopefully the last of my Manchester runs for a while. Although I could have happily stayed in bed, I recognise the difference my presence makes and made the effort to go. After the intense spiritual activity yesterday, and the late night, I was done in by the time I got home, and had to go for a power nap.

Again I’m reminded of how important it is to look after oneself when one is supporting others.

Lesson 346 – 12/12/12

Today the peace of God envelopes me, and forgot all things except His Love.

Father, I wake today with miracles correcting my perception of all things. And so begins the day I share with You as I will share eternity, for time has stepped aside today. I do not seek the things of time, and so I will not look upon them. What I seek the things of time, and so I will not look upon them. I would forget all things except Your Love. I would abide in You, and know no laws except Your law of love. And I would find the peace which You created for Your Son, forgetting all foolish toys I made as I behold Your glory and my son.

Chilly berries by Brendan Lowe

And when the evening comes today, we will remember nothing but the peace of God. For we will learn today what peace is ours, when we forgot all things except God’s Love.

Today is 12/12/12 and I joined in the world meditation at 12 noon. Later had a group meditation at my home and created and sent some powerful healing and love energy. This was followed by some very intuitive readings at the Ash Centre and lovely fish and chips supper. It was all very intense (apart from the fish and chips of course), as everyone was amazed by the accuracy of the readers.

Animals keep coming up for me!!

Lesson 345 – Give the gifts you want to receive

I offer only miracles today, for I would have them returned to me.

Father, a miracle reflects your gifts to me, Your Son. And every Frankfurt market, Birmingham, Dec 2011one I give returns to me, reminding me the law of love is universal. Even here, it takes a form which can be recognised and seen to work. The miracles I give are given back in just the form I need to help me with the problems I perceive. Father, in Heaven it is different, for there, there are no needs. But here on earth, the miracle is closer to Your gifts than any other gift that I can give. Then let me give this gift alone today, which, born of true forgiveness, lights the way that I must travel to remember You.

Peace to all seeking hearts today. The light has come to offer miracles to bless the tired world. It will find rest today, for we will offer what we have received.

I went to Wirksworth today. As I drove through the heavy mist and fog of Birmingham I braced myself for a long and possibly tiring journey in these conditions, and began to wish I’d chosen another day to go. But somewhere just past Swinfen the mist and fog disappeared and I drove the rest of the way in beautiful sunshine, unimpeded by clouds, and able to really appreciate the beautiful green of Derbyshire. I thought it a metaphor for life. If we persevere through the fog and mist we will, often quite unexpectedly, hit the sunshine of life.

It’s coming up to 12/12/12 and I was made an offer to run a meditation at my home. I leapt at the opportunity and after numerous calls and texts (such short notice) two people have agreed to come, that will make four of us including me and the facilitator. A day to focus on interconnectedness.

The editing’s going well. Interesting to read back stuff I only wrote a month ago

Lesson 344 – The laws of love

Today I learn the law of love, that what I give my brother is my gift to me.

This is your law, my Father, not my own. I have not understood Frankfurt market in Birmingham Dec 2011what giving means, and thought to save what I desired for myself alone. And as I looked upon the treasure I thought I had, I found an empty place where nothing ever was or is or will be. Who can share a dream? And what can an illusion offer me? Yet he whom I forgive will give me gifts beyond the worth of anything on earth. Let my forgiven brothers fill my store with heaven’s treasures, which alone are real. Thus is the law of love fulfilled. And thus your Son arises and returns to You.

How near we are to one another, as we go to God. How near is He to us. How close the ending of the dream of sin, and the redemption of the Son of God.

I struggled to get back into the writing groove after my week off. It took about an hour and a half of sitting at my desk before I was able to re-connect with the process and the characters. I am more than ever convinced that the ‘job’ is the way to go. I would certainly not have done any editing today, as there was plenty else I could have used to occupy my time.

Coming up to Christmas it seems that every lesson is a reminder that the greatest gift is forgiveness. The more I give, the more I receive.

Lesson 343 – No need for sacrifice

I am not asked to make a sacrifice to find the mercy and the peace of God.

Catherine at the RamadaThe end of suffering can not be loss. The gift of everything can be but gain. Your never take away. And you created me o be like You, so sacrifice becomes impossible for me as well as You. I, too, must give. And so all things are given unto me forever and forever. As I was created I remain. Your Son can make no sacrifice, for he must be complete, having the function of completing you. I am complete because I am Your Son. I cannot lose, for I can only give, and everything is mine eternally.

The mercy and the peace of God are free. Salvation has no cost. It is a gift that must be freely given and received. And it is this that we would learn today.

This was a timely lesson for me because I had only last night decided that there were things I would have to give up in order to be more at peace. But they are things that I enjoy. So on the one hand I have to remind myself that nothing is included that is contradictory or irrelevant, and on the other that nothing is lacking that is needed. I guess the only thing that I need give up is anything that would cause me suffering, and of curse the end of suffering cannot be a loss.

I spent most of the morning and early afternoon at the gym and spa. Hunger drove me home to a mentoring session. It seems to be a semi-regular occurrence at the moment.

Lesson 342 – It all about me

I let forgiveness rest upon all things, for thus forgiveness will be given me.

I thank You, Father, for Your plan to save me from the hell I made. Autumn coloursIt is not real. And you have given me the means to prove its unreality to me. The key is in my hand, and I have reached the door beyond which lies the end of dreams. I stand before the gates of heaven, wondering if I should enter in and be at home. Let me not wait again today. Let me forgive all things, and let creation be as You would have it be and as it is. Let me remember that I am Your Son, and opening the door at last, forget illusions in the blazing light of truth, as memory of You returns to me.

Brother, forgive me now. I come to you to take you home with me. And as we go, the world goes with us on our way to God.

I am rediscovering the uplifting power of loud music, and forgiveness. Another day when I recognised that its impossible to forgive anyone else till I’ve forgiven myself. Once the forgiveness started the spirits began to soar. How many times do I have to attend this class?

Lesson 341 – What is a miracle?

What is a miracle? (Reading)

A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. Demonstration in Birmingham City Centre SeptemberIt merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. It undoes error, but does not attempt to go beyond perception, nor exceed the function of forgiveness. Thus it stays within time’s limit. Yet it paves the way for the return of timelessness and love’s awakening, for fear must slip away under the gentle remedy it brings.

A miracle brings the gift of grace, for it is given and received as one. And thus it illustrates the law of truth the world does not obey, because it fails entirely to understand its ways.

Forgiveness is the home of miracles. The eyes of Christ deliver them to all they look upon in mercy and in love. Miracles fall like drops of healing rain from Heaven on a dry and dusty world, where starved and thirsty creatures come to die. Now they have water. Now the world is green. And everywhere the signs of life spring up, to show that what is born can never die, for what has life has immortality.h

Lesson 341 (Lesson)

I can attack but my own sinlessness, and it is only that which keeps me safe.

Father, Your Son is holy. I am he on whom You smile in love and tenderness so dear and deep and still the universe smiles back on You, and shares Your Holiness. How pure, how safe, how holy, then, are we, abiding I Your Smile, with all Your Love bestowed upon us, living one with You, in brotherhood and Fatherhood complete; in sinlessness so perfect that the Lord of Sinlessness conceives us as His Son, a universe of Thought completing Him.

Let us not, then, attack our sinlessness, for it contains the Word of God to us. And in its kind reflection we are saved.

It was great to be reminded in the reading that the course is all about miracles, and that miracle = forgiveness. I had to remind myself that holding people accountable for the things they did to me is a sign of lack forgiveness. Sometimes its hard to focus on the future without wanting people to pay for their misdemeanours.

I had my artist date today. Pure indulgence. Watched Moulin Rouge again – plus all the extras, especially the dance sequences; accompanied by candles and a rather lovely Sauvignon Blanc.

Lesson 340 – Painfree

I can be free of suffering today.

Father, I thank you for today, and for the freedom I am certain it will bring. This day is holy, for today your Son will be redeemed. Ash Gabbidon on 1st September at the Gabbidon Brothers gigHis suffering is done. For he will hear Your Voice directing him to find Christ’s vision through forgiveness, and be free forever from all suffering. Thanks for today, my Father. I was born into this world but to achieve this day, and what it hold in joy and freedom for Your holy Son and for the world he made, which is released along with him today.

Be glad today! Be glad! There is no room for anything but joy and thanks today. Our Father has redeemed His Son this day. Not one of us but will be saved today. Not one who will remain in fear, and none the Father will not gather to Himself, awake in Heaven in the Heart of Love.

Today the full force of writing the book so quickly hit in the form of total exhaustion. Cancelled everything and stayed in, watched mindless TV and talked to friends on the phone.

Lesson 339 – getting my gifts

I will receive whatever I request.

No one desires pain. But he can think that pain is pleasure. No one would avoid his happiness. But he can think that joy is painful, The highly influential Walking in This Worldthreatening and dangerous. Everyone will receive what he requests. But he can be confused indeed about the things he wants; the state he would attain. What can he then request that he would want when he receives it? He has asked for what will frighten him, and bring him suffering. Let us resolve today to ask for what we really want, and only this, that we may spend this day in fearlessness, without confusing pain with joy, or fear with love.

Father, this is your day. It is a day in which I would do nothing by myself, but hear Your voice in everything I do; requesting only what You offer me, accepting only Thoughts You share with me.

It was very comforting today to know that I was not on my own. Trust is a very powerful calmer, and an amazing up lifter. I am very grateful for all my family and friends, and was completely bowled over by the big bouquet I received today. Walking in This World continues to inspire and amaze me

Lesson 338 – It’s all in the head

I am affected only by my thoughts.

It needs but this to let salvation come to all the world. For in this PICT1664single thought is everyone released at last from fear. Now has he learned that no one frightens him, and nothing can endanger him. He has no enemies, and he is safe from all external things. His thoughts can frighten him, and nothing can endanger him. He has no enemies, and he is safe from all external things. His thoughts can frighten him, but since these thoughts belong to him alone, he has the power to exchange them and exchange each fear thought for a happy thought o f love. He crucified himself. Yet God has planned that His beloved Son will be redeemed.

Your plan is sure, my Father, – only Yours. All other plans will fail. And I will have thoughts that will frighten me, until I learn that you have given me the only Thought that leads me to salvation. Mine alone will fail, and lead me nowhere. But the Thought You gave me promises to lead me home, because it holds Your promise to Your Son.

Are mind games a form of control one of my clients asked me. Without hesitation I said yes, and then stopped to ponder it further. Why is it controlling? Because it keeps others on edge, keeps them guessing, they can never relax, never be certain about the things being played with; and if that happens to be the relationship itself, then it’s highly controlling. But what if the other person also plays mind games? Then what you have is a game of chess – not a relationship.

But let’s not be condemning of the game player. Such people are hugely insecure, and their main purpose is to make others feel as insecure as they do. They will often befriend you, get you to confide in them, and pretend to share some deep dark secret with you in the hope that you will reciprocate; and when you do they will use your secret/hopes/ambitions/ whatever, to manipulate you. It’s sometimes hard to get out of such relationships because you feel this person knows more about you than anyone, and because sometimes they will revert to being really nice, how you remembered them before the mind games.

You have to ask yourself – how long do I want to live with this? Bearing in mind that if you decide to end the relationship the game player will know which of your buttons to press to make you stay. It may be helpful to enlist the help of a good friend or a professional to help you stand firm, and to help you re-build your self esteem which will invariably have been damaged in the process. How much will depend on how long and how deep you were in the relationship.

I did an EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) session today, to help with my fear of dogs, which again proved to me its all in the mind. See separate blog.
