Our performance at St Martin’s Church on 12th November
began with a call from 3 master drummers and members of WWB handing out leaflets outside of the church to members of the public to invite them into what has to be (in my
opinion) or best ever group performance.
By noon we were all in place and ready to go. Paul from the church introduced WWB and our link with the Birmingham wide Love Your Neighbour initiative.
Sue Brown, our group leader introduced the group; its background, its members, its past performances and set this one in context.
Then the performances began. Poetry, prose, music, song and dance. Each piece moving in its own way. There were some stunning performances. Everyone stepped up a notch or two to deliver a cohesive performance that really showed what WWB is all about.
